नमस्कार ! परवा एका seminar ला गेलो होतो. तिथे अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. भारताचे अनेक मोठे शास्त्रज्ञ होते. मी जरा विचारपूस केली असता असे कळाले होते कि तेथे ज्यांनी भारताचा Super-Computer बनवला, ते खुद्ध डॉ.विजय भटकर उपस्थित राहणार आहेत. एवढी मोठी personality खुद्ध डोळ्यांनी पाहायला मिळणार ह्या भावनेने मी थोडा excite झालो आणि त्या seminar च्या विषया बद्दल चौकशी केली. मला expected विषय होते ते म्हणजे, 'भारत आणि Technology ' , किव्वा 'आधुनिक भारत' वगैरे. पण तो विषय अगदीच वेगळा निघाला. " वेदिक शास्त्र " !  माझे reply म्हणजे अगदी असे होते.. "काय? काय संबंध? Super-Computer बनवणारा माणूस ह्या विषयावर काय बोलू शकतो ?"  मुळातच वेदिक शास्त्रा बद्दलचे माझे अडाणीपण आणि ह्या सर्व विसंगती पाहून, मला त्या seminar ला पूर्ण एक दिवस देऊन सर्व गोष्टी जाणून घेण्याची एक विलक्षण आणि तीव्र इच्छा निर्माण झाली. आणि ते attend केल्या नंतर मिळालेल्या माहिती मुळे माझी विचार करण्याची पद्धती, दृष्टीकोन आणि आपल्या भारताबद्दल असलेल्या प्रेमाची Intensity, ह्यान्मद्धे प्रचंड...

नमस्कार मित्रांनो अणि  मैत्रिणींनो  ! कसे आहात आपण लोक ? सर्व काही ठीक ना? आज  मी पुन्हा थोडे मराठी बद्दलच लिहित आहे. "  आपण लोकांनी जरा मराठीचाच पुरस्कार करून , मान देऊन मराठीला प्रतिष्ठा मिळवून दिली पाहिजे" याच विषयावर मला बोलायचं आहे.  मराठी ला किव्वा आपल्या मातृभाषेला  महत्व न देता दुसऱ्या भाषेचा पुरस्कार करणे म्हणजे स्वतः पेक्षा ती भाषा ज्यांची आहे त्यांना जास्त महत्व देण्या सारखे आहे. मी म्हणतोय म्हणून नाही तर एकदा खरच हा विचार करून पहा कि कदाचित हे कारण असेल का आपण [भारत] मागे असल्याचे?       "छे हे आपलं काम नाही! ती गोरी लोकच हे करू शकतात !" " अमेरिका फार भारी आहे ,त्यांच्या एवढी शक्ती आणि बुद्धिमत्ता आपल्या कडे नाही .....!"  "उन्नत तंत्राद्यान बनवणे ते चीन लाच माहिती, आपण कुठून आणणार त्यांच्या इतकी सामग्री .." हे फार बुरसटलेले विचार आहेत जे आज पर्यंत आपल्याला मागे ठेवत आहेत. आणि मी या सर्वांच्या विरुद्ध विचार करतो आणि या विचारांचा मूळ ह...

These social networking sites have benefited mankind in many aspects. These sites also provide a simple chat application which allows us to share our ideas, information and emotions to our friends, colleagues privately. शिवाजीराजे व मुघल संघर्षातील महत्त्वाची घटना म्हणजे शाहिस्तेखान प्रकरण. औरंगजेबाने आपला मामा शाहिस्तेखान यास शिवाजींविरुद्ध पाठविले. खानाने पुणे येथील लाल महालात मुक्काम केला. राजांनी जिवाची बाजी लावून, लाल महालात निवडक सैन्यानिशी प्रवेश करून खानावर हल्ला चढविला. त्याची बोटे कापली व अक्षरश: अंतर्धान पावले. शाहिस्तेखान - स्वारीत स्वराज्याचे झालेले नुकसान भरून काढण्यासाठी राजांनी औरंगजेबाची आर्थिक राजधानी असलेले सुरत शहर लुटले. तेथील परकीय व्यापार्‍यांना लुटले. एतद्देशियांचे धन लुटणार्‍या व्यापार्‍यांस जरब बसविली. याचा प्रतिशोध घेण्यासाठी औरंगजेबाने मिर्झा राजे जयसिंग या अजेय सेनापतीस पाठविले. मिर्झा राजे व दिलेरखानाने मराठ्यांचा पराभव करून शिवाजींस शरण येण्यास भाग पाडले. मिर्झाने २३ किल्ले व ४ लाख उत्पन्नाचा प्रदेश घेऊन राजांस आगरा येथे औरंगजेबाच्या भेटीस पाठविले. आगरा येथे पोहोचल्यावर औरंगजेबाने राजांस नजरकैदेत टाकून ठार मारण्याचा बेत आखला. परंतु शिवाजीराजे पुत्र संभाजींसह सुटका करून घेण्यात यशस्वी ठरले. ही सुटका जागतिक इतिहासातील एक आश्चर्यजनक घटना मानली जाते. औरंगजेबाला विलक्षण...
